Schedule a Good Brushing Teeth

Ask:

Dear doctor, I have a habit of brushing their teeth in the morning in the shower after waking. Then I have breakfast and do not brush your teeth afterwards. I just brush my teeth again when going to bed at night. Whether the habit is good or not good, or should brush my schedule changed?

ANSWER:

We recommend brushing your schedule changed, because it is still not quite right. Good brushing frequency of at least 2 times a day, with time to brush your teeth is when the morning after breakfast and before bedtime.

Within 4 hours, the bacteria begin to mix with the food and form dental plaque. Brushing your teeth after meals aim to inhibit this process.

Better yet, if you add time to brush your teeth after lunch, or at least rinse water after every meal.
