He explained that the data a person while still alive (ante mortem) is needed in the process of matching the victim's body or body parts. This process is not easy because some of the victims were foreign nationals (foreigners).
The ante mortem data needed, said Anton, including fingerprints, tooth shape, and DNA data the victim's family. The data will be equipped with medical data and the victim's belongings.
"The process was long, and this time the victim is quite a lot, especially involving foreigners as well," said Anton.
What has been achieved so far as very fast. Because, Anton stated, all data has been collected ante mortem. Therefore, he asked for patience to await the completion of the family of the identification process. The entire examination was carried out together, both for the bodies of Indonesian citizens and foreigners.
"(Examination) foreign national bodies also carried out jointly Police DVI team and the Russian team," said Anton.
