Prevent Stroke with "PASSION"

Stroke is synonymous with disease of adults aged over 50 years. However, now it is no longer valid. Because, today many young adults are also affected by this disease.

"In the present circumstances, even a young child who is older than 30 years there has been affected by stroke and this requires extensive information," said Administrator Stroke Foundation of Indonesia (Yastroki) Haryono Suyono a press conference at the World Stroke Today, on Thursday (27/10 / 2011), in Jakarta.

Haryono said, the percentage of stroke patients aged 30 years in Indonesia Stroke Foundation is currently about 10 percent. Although not many, that number increases as it is not possible lifestyle changes.

"The risk was more and more in a country where people start working with higher activity. Thus, the pressure of economic and employment also led to increased stroke risk, but also the risk of food," he said.

Haryono rate, food consumption in the society tend to contain high cholesterol. This is what can trigger the development of diseases such as hypertension, stroke, and diabetes.

Therefore, Haryono urged people to live life with PASSION to avoid the risk of stroke. PASSION is referred to here is as follows.

1. Healthy lifestyle. Each person would be expected to care about the health of each run a healthy lifestyle (eating with balanced nutrition, adequate rest, and regular exercise).

2. Active friendship. Active in friendship is very good for health, especially to prevent stress. Stress is one trigger factors of stroke and this can be avoided.

3. Remember and piety to God. Weighing any problems and trials that you face, do not feel for stress and despair because it will only take you on a more serious problem. Submit all persolan your life to Him. That way, you'll feel calm.

4. Her love and caring to others. We show love and care for others, especially for our brothers and sisters who suffer from diseases such as stroke. Give them the attention and support. That way, we will know how precious health is.

5. Knowledge about stroke glory. Everyone should understand what are the risk factors, causes, and efforts to prevent the occurrence of stroke. Not only the understanding alone, but science must also be applied in everyday life.

6. Life should not be frowned (sense of humor). People should not be frowned life, should always be happy. Deal with all issues with a smile and a little joke. This will keep your mind away from stress and problems.
